Ignacio Henares Civantos is the Conservatory Director of the Sierra Nevada National and Natural Park since 2007. As a biologist, he holds a Master’s in Environment and Water Management from the University of Granada in Spain. Ignacio is also a state worker of the Administration of the Regional Government of Andalusia. He wrote numerous papers about the environment and made countless conference presentations. In the past three years, he released three books about the Sierra Nevada’s biodiversity. Since 2014, Ignacio works in collaboration with Granada Hoy, a local newspaper for which he writes a weekly report on the Sierra Nevada.
